Vehicle-rated stone that survives Florida sun, hurricane rain, and decades of wear. Hemingway flagstone is the high-end Miami choice.
A natural stone driveway is a 30-year decision. The stone has to handle vehicle weight, daily sun cycling, hurricane rainfall, and the occasional landscaping truck. Hemingway flagstone, sawn to 2-inch depth at the quarry, is the material spec that wins on Coral Gables, Pinecrest, and Coconut Grove estates: irregular natural face for the look, dimensional sawcut back for the install, and the structural depth to stay put under SUVs and light trucks.
Driveway-rated stone needs 2-inch minimum depth for vehicle traffic. We sell it; don't substitute thinner flagstone.
Base prep matters as much as the stone. Spec a properly graded compacted base for any natural stone driveway.
Plan 10 to 15 percent waste on irregular flagstone for cuts and color matching.
Sealing reduces staining from oil, leaves, and tire marks. Renew every two to three years.
Send your material list, project drawings, or rough scope. We will quote it as a single project order with locked pricing through the build.
